I’m back with your monthly market update for August 2018.
- In DeForest/Windsor, there were 20 sales in August, with an average sales price of $309,000. Compared to August 2017, this is a 45% decrease in sales and a 1% drop in value.
- For the Sun Prairie area, there were 91 sales, with an average sales price of $283,000. That’s 9% more sales than August of 2017, and the property value increased 6% year over year.
- There were 33 sales in Waunakee, amounting to an average sales price of $564,000—year over year, sales dropped 27%, and property values increased 19%.
- Madison had quite a few sales in August this year—472, with an average sales price of $310,000. Their sales dropped 3% from the previous year, though property values went up 6%.
